Johanna Bundon, Jayden Pfeifer, Lee Henderson and the Brian Webb Dance Company in a double bill program produced by Regina's MacKenzie Art Gallery and New Dance Horizons that celebrates the 100th birthday of legendary Canadian artist, Betty Goodwin and her collaboration with Fortier Danse Création. Magdance 5 highlights dance performance created on the Canadian Prairie.

Join for a delightful afternoon of orchestral chamber music, featuring talented ensemble of professional musicians and guest soloist Lizzy Hoyt. Lizzy is a nationally recognized Celtic songwriter and singer and the repertoire spans the classical era to the 21st century, offering a rich and diverse musical experience.

This year, the organizers are bringing Shakespeare to your park. Setting up the stage in outdoor hockey rinks at four different community leagues. Bring your own chairs, blankets and picnics or sit on the bleachers and enjoy the intimate setting and the return of our favourite ambiance director, Mother Nature.

We are full for the Regency Potluck Picnic! While it is a free event, please bring along your confirmation as we will check! We have a max capacity of 65 attendees. If you do not have a ticket, you will be turned away.

Stand- Up Stand Off Final at Grindstone Theatre
The Grindstone Stand-Up Stand-Off pits up-and-coming comedians from Edmonton and across Western Canada against each other for a chance at glory, $1000 in prizes and a shot at the festival main stage. Each comic gets five minutes to bring their best jokes. One finalist each week will be chosen by the panel of comedy judges, and another will be voted through by the discerning live comedy audience.

Join El Mero for a celebration Parking Lot Party. They are turning 2 and want you to join in the fun. There will be live music and entertainment, food trucks, a vendor market, henna and mini portrait artist and more! For the kids there will be a bouncy castle, balloon house, face painting and more kids activities.
JazzFest: EJO Meets ESO
In a ground-breaking event closing out the Festival, The Edmonton Jazz Orchestra, Edmonton’s premiere professional big band, will share the stage with members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra at the Winspear Centre.

Japanese Tea Ceremony
Join this Japanese tea ceremony performance at University of Alberta Botanic Gardens. Served in 2 styles, Furo and Ryurei. Each guest will enjoy a traditional Japanese sweet, accompanied by a bowl of freshly made matcha during the ceremony.
JazzFest: Festival Jam Session

Brooklyn based Jazz Drummer/Composer, and recent Juno nominee, Owen Howard has been on the cutting edge of the New York jazz scene for the past twenty years. Born and raised in Edmonton, Canada his passion for the drums began at the age of 15.
The 11 O’clock Number at Grindstone Theatre
The 11 O’clock Number is Grindstone’s award winning improvised musical comedy! Based on suggestions from the audience the cast improvises a brand new musical comedy on the spot, complete with twisting plots and showstopping numbers. Laughs are guaranteed.

JazzFest: Jon Guenter
Edmonton-based drummer and composer Jon Guenter is exploring musical expression rooted in personal experiences. Since completing his undergraduate studies in 2019, Jon has been busy writing for his trio/quartet, while continuing studies on the drums.
JazzFest: Avataar/Moneka Arabic Jazz
A special Jazz Festivaldouble bill, Avataar and Moneka Arabic Jazz performing on the same night. Avataar’s music is inspired by the deep musical traditions of India, Africa and Brazil, rooted within the framework of modern jazz. MONEKA ARABIC JAZZ is a project reflecting the life and journey in art from Baghdad to Toronto.

River Valley Songwriters Festival
On Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30, join us in the yard at Little Brick Cafe for two evenings of performances, inspired by the ever popular River Valley Sessions evenings held monthly at Dogpatch.
Enjoy beers and vodka sodas from Sea Change Brewing Co. and Shiddy's Distilling, with the BBQ going at Little Brick Cafe.
Singles Yard Games in the Park
Come out and enjoy a Saturday evening in the park for single yard games. Tickets include hot dogs on the bbq and sodas, yard games and a connection ticket where you’ll mark y or no to connections you meet while mingling in the park. There will be tournament mini games, free to mingle time and matched competitions.
JazzFest: Dan Davis Quartet
For this free show, Dan will be joined by some of Edmonton’s finest up and coming musicians. Composer and Pianist Stephanie Urquhart will be on keys, fresh off of her masters in composition at McGill University. Sean Croal and Biboye Onanuga will bring their buoyant rhythmic energy, which they have brought every week for the last year and half running the New Standards session at the Common.
