In 1891, Johanna Bonger, widow of Vincent van Gogh’s brother Theo, finds herself in possession of all of Vincent’s artwork–over 600 pieces. Though she is told to rid herself of the “worthless art”, she refuses, and passionately takes on the mission to bring Vincent’s work to the forefront of the art world.

One of the world’s leading concert pianists, Angela Hewitt appears globally in recital and as soloist with major orchestras. A native of Ottawa, she also performs throughout Canada and has won four Junos along with numerous other awards. Renowned for her interpretations of J.S. Bach in live performance and recordings, her extensive discography spans works by Beethoven, Scarlatti, Handel, Couperin, Rameau, Haydn, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, and many more.
