Join in the heart of downtown Edmonton on August 9th - 11th, 2024, for a 3 day event. You will be immersed in the history, traditions, and contributions of the Caribbean diaspora. The festival ensures that the legacy of our rich Caribbean culture is passed on to future generations. 

Magic & Madness with Chris Gowen

Date Night at the Prairie Garden Farm
Grab your partner, bestie, or your neighbour and join Prairie Garden Farm for an evening at the farm! When you arrive enjoy a farm discovery tour, trackless train ride, and even a goat schnuggle or two.

Take a Cooking Class at L’OCA
Upon arrival at the L’OCA Lab Signature Kitchen Suite, expert chef Jaclyn Beckmann will welcome you with a complimentary beverage and an introduction to two beloved Italian dishes: a northern Italian Risotto, prepared with your choice of seasonal vegetables, and a Crostata, a timeless Italian baked tart that perfectly captures the freshness of summer fruits.

Alberta Avenue Night Markets
An evening celebrating East African culture with delicious food, live music by African artists, and a vendor market showcasing unique African artisanal products. Each Night Market is family-friendly and free to attend. Vendors for each market are currently being accepted.

Summer Movies in the Park
Bring your comfiest chair or coziest blanket, because you won’t want to miss this. There will be FREE popcorn and a lineup of delicious food trucks ready to satisfy all your cravings. The fun kicks off at 7 PM, and the movie starts shortly after sunset.

Edmonton Culinary Book Club
Join the monthly book club at the Stanley A. Milner Library, a discussion and creating book club. After discussing the monthly feature, you will create something form the book. This month they will be reading "The Anthropocene Reviewed" by  John Green and will be making Hawaiian pizza flatbread with pina colada mocktails to accompany our discussion of the book. 

Pop Trivia at Grindstone Theatre

Come down to the Grindstone for Sorry Not Sorry's Pop Trivia Night! Test your knowledge, hangout with your friends, and enjoy some food and drinks at the Bistro for a great evening. Hosted by Sorry Not Sorry Improv, is Edmonton's home for nerdy improvised comedy.

Sunset Sunday Outdoor Yoga
